A new year and a new semester at Yale presents each of us with opportunities to get involved in new and meaningul activities both inside and outside the classroom. It’s no different in the initiative with two ongoing reading groups (DSP and OMIPOD) and plenty of workshops in the planning stages. There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved, both as a casual attendee and as a contributing member. OMI needs lots of help with event planning and coordination (help with workshop logistics, concert planning and logistics), publicity (design and distribution of posters), social media (we’re figuring this out…), and web work (blog/write-ups of workshops) among others.
